Browser-safe Colour Chart!


What do we mean ? These tiles represent the pre-determined palette of 216 colours that browsers use when in 256-colour mode. These colours will remain true for all browsers; any other combinations of RGB may well be dithered or changed when displayed on systems restricted to 8-bit colour.

Move your mouse over the coloured tiles to see the corresponding values for red, green & blue in the status area.
